The club started in 1989 as Rock River Fly Casters. IN 2020 the club incorporated as a Non-Profit and became, Rock River Fly Casters Consortium NFP. In 2022. the club became an associate member of FFI.
The Illinois Smallmouth Alliance is primarily a conservation club. Our mission is to protect, preserve and enhance smallmouth bass habitat and to educate the public regarding conservation and river preservation.
