Welcome

The Lew Jewett chapter of FFi used a “Passport” program in March at the Great Waters Expo at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. The Passport was simply a list of six activities young people participated in and when complete (five out of six activities) were entered into a drawing for one of three Rod/Reel combo kits. These were donated by the Fly Angler in Blaine, MN. Over 40 youths learned about Fly Casting, Aquatic Insects, Basic Fishing Knots, and Fly Tying. Peter Garretson (UMC Education Chair) and Monta Hayner lead this effort.
