The Lew Jewett chapter of FFi used a “Passport” program in March at the Great Waters Expo at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN. The Passport was simply a list of six activities young people participated in and when complete (five out of six activities) were entered into a drawing for one of three Rod/Reel combo kits. These were donated by the Fly Angler in Blaine, MN. Over 40 youths learned about Fly Casting, Aquatic Insects, Basic Fishing Knots, and Fly Tying.
